Blending Complimentary methods with Traditional Veterinary Methods of care for the health of your pet.

Energy Field Therapy is an integrative approach to animal health and wellness. Energy blocks can interfere with the immune system and overall wellness which can impede the animal’s healing from pain, acute or chronic illness or disease and bodily or emotional injuries.  Various techniques and therapeutic grade essential oils are used initially to calm and relax the animal.  While working with the meridians and the chakras within the body the process then begins to open, clear, and balance the energies, ridding the body of the undesirable buildup of toxins and leading to a stronger immune system.  Treatment sessions are aimed at overall balance of the animal’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual or intuitional energies.

Raising the awareness of Small Animal Home Hospice and End of Life Care
When the time comes and you are faced with the news of a terminal illness in your pet allow yourself to take a peek into home hospice for animals.  The final days with your animal can be a beautiful parting gift to both of you. Working through this process in your home can be an expression of your continued unconditional love for your animal until the natural process of life’s circle comes to a close.

We take an alternative approach to your pet’s health care. Traditional medicine typically treats symptoms, where holistic medicine helps the body heal from the inside out. Starting with proper nutrition, we will design a personalized treatment program for the life of your pet. We offer alternative therapies such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, homotoxicology, flower essences, vaccine nosodes and antibody titers. If indicated, we will provide traditional therapies and diagnostics, including bloodwork, x-rays, surgery, dentistry, vaccines and traditional medications.

Tanya Cardwell

Tanya Cardwell ~ Animal Behavior Counselor
Training & Pet Sitting

Work Phone: (303) 908-8296
Work Email:
Tanya@dogncatbehaviorsolutions.com

Website: www.dogncatbehaviorsolutions.com

In 2004 Tanya started work at the Colorado Humane Society where she noticed an unmistakable pattern: pets with poor behavior were the first to be given up and last to be adopted. This inspired Tanya to work specifically with pets in need of training.

In 2007 Tanya became an Animal Behavior Counselor for the Dumb Friends League and for five years she trained animals who failed their behavior evaluations – either because they were aggressive, extremely fearful, or not safe for the public. Some pets needed basic training – others – intensive behavior modification. In early 2012 Tanya started a dog training and pet sitting business, Behavior Solutions, LLC. She’s a certified pet dog trainer, a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and a board member of the Colorado Natural Pet Care Association.

Tanya also offers private training through the Denver Animal Shelter and works with local rescues including Rocky Mountain Cocker Spaniel Rescue and Big Dogs Huge Paws.
